Come Out and have a Ball with Wicomico’s Social Recreation Adult Kickball
Registration is now open April 9 - May 21 2011
(Salisbury, MD) Wicomico Recreation, Parks and Tourism have opened their Adult Kickball registration for the summer of 2011. This is a social recreation event that is all about having a great time and enjoying the company of others not just who won or lost the game.
Join in on the fun that nearly 200 people came out to enjoy last year. Adults 18 years or older may sign up to play Adult Kickball as an individual, group or team (12-15 players). The cost per individual is $22 and teams are $300. Businesses, school staff and other groups are encouraged to join. Registration forms and team packets are available at the Civic Center box office now through May 21st. You may also register online at www.wicomicorecandparks.org under Recreation Programs. Games are played in the evening beginning Wednesday June 1st through July at the Henry S. Parker Athletic Complex (711 Naylor Mill Rd, Salisbury, MD). The season ends with a cookout and Round-Robin Tournament where every team gets a chance to play.
The Wicomico’s social recreation Adult Kickball is on a mission to bring people together. Socializing is strongly encouraged before and after the game whether it is on the field or at a local designated restaurant. During the games, family and friends may come out to cheer and show as much support as they would like.
